Do not take a daily dose of 3 mg or more of monacolines from red rice fermented rice. Do not use the product during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, in children under 18 years of age and in adults over 70 years of age. It should not be consumed if you are taking cholesterol-lowering medication and if you are allergic to shellfish. |
Chitosan is a natural fibre obtained from the shells of marine crustaceans, which has special characteristics that enable it to help prevent the intestinal reabsorption of cholesterol and fatty acids and to bind lipids taken in with food.
Phytosterols are natural substances found in plants with a cholesterol-like structure that can contribute to the overall reduction of cholesterol absorption.
